Some of the Visualization examples use pyCMC which we decided not to port to the new ADE (see issue). This got really confusing recently when helping a user we have to mix and match sections from several pages to get it working.

So we should update the examples, and expand upon using stac_ipyleaflet as an alternative to Folium (which is still the easiest).

Replace pyCMC

Figure out how to do it with stac_ipyleaflet too

Bonus:

  • Add tip about NoData
  • Better explain adding parameters to Titiler calls to customize the look of your map.

I already started on this, I will consult with Emma on trying to replicate pyCMC with stac_ipyleaflet

There is also: MAAP-Project/Community#745 (comment)

Possible duplicate of #238 , but this ticket has more public details.

All references of pycmc have been replaced with stac_ipyleaflet in the most recent update to maap documentation. I think we are good to close out this ticket?
