using the application works fine, but ColorControl.exe --lgpreset "POWER OFF" --nogui does nothing.

I have the exact same problem, was using it to switch quickly between DTM and HGIG HDR.

Seems to still work with ColorControl 10.0.1.0

This is still a problem in the latest version 10.2.0.0, works on 10.0.1.0

Same problem here. I downgraded to 10.0.1.0 and got it working, but experienced other bugs like the GUI refusing to open despite rebooting system and stopping the service etc, which made me go back to the most recent version.

The ability to run presets via scripts is very useful for many peoples workflow and we would love to see it patched! :)

I too have that problem, GUI on 10.0.1.0 won't open anymore, however CMD still work! So i am using the ugliest workaround possible, i just point the CMD's to the old install folder and it works, GUI and hotkeys from the latest, CMD's from the old folder.

I tried this and it does not appear to work for me. Are you using the windows service from the old or the new version of ColorControl?

I have the elevation-method set to none, in my use case there was no difference to run it as a service.

Ever since i installed dot net 9 + asp 9 (8 still installed which the older version needs), the 10.0.1.0 version GUI won't open but in my case it can still execute LG-presets through commandline.

So 2 separate install folders that share the same config (AppData\Roaming\Maassoft\ColorControl):

10.0.1.0: ONLY commandline stuff working
10.2.0.0: everything else but commandline working

Maybe try uninstalling dot net v9 just keeping v8, hopefully restoring full functionality of the old version in the meanwhile.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply Peat. I'll test your setup when I have some time on my hands!
