Regarding usage of Platoon_cacc

In the platoon_cacc code once the size is defined and a platoon is inserted on lane, is it possible to make a normal vehicle to join at any random position in the platoon?

By using route file , if I insert 5 Passengers car with TypecACC instead of Typemanual with some speeds traveling in different lane, then later try to move them in a specific lane with speed of 10 m/s as arrival speed for all vehicles. Can these five vehicles modeled as above result in to formation of platoon?

Can any member of platoon change it's position inside the platoon and according hand over the leadership to other without using maneuvering ??
