We want to use our BlueField-3 DPUs as standard servers (but in PCIe adapter form factor). We need neither any host offload or acceleration nor any virtualization support.
More specifically, we want to run an ARM64-based network application directly on a DPU, interacting with the two integrated CX7 ports, set up using nmcli for example.
The Deploying BlueField Software Using PXE doesn't really say whether we can use a regular Linux distro, e.g. Rocky Linux 9.4.

Can we use Rocky-9.4-aarch64-minimal.iso and a server provisioning application like Cobbler to install the OS on the BF-3 DPU?
