Describe the feature

I suggest implementing the MPRIS D-Bus interface from freedesktop.org to the notebot module.

This would allow users to control (play, pause, next track) the notebot using scripts, or even bluetooth headsets/remotes, aswell as see the song that is currently playing.

I also believe this is possible in windows using windows.media.control, but I have no knowledge regarding that.

Before submitting a suggestion

  • This feature doesn't already exist in the client. (I have checked every module and their settings on the latest dev build)

  • This wasn't already suggested. (I have searched suggestions on GitHub and read the FAQ)

EDIT: Fix typo and add suggestion for windows aswell
