An Android EditText
for phone numbers.
This library uses libphonenumber-android for phone number formatting.
Gradle:
repositories {
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
compile 'io.michaelrocks:callmemaybe:1.2.9'
}
Just replace your EditText
with the PhoneEditText
and that's it!
If using the PhoneEditText
view doesn't work well for you it's possible
to make TextView
act as the PhoneEditText
.
final TextView phoneEditText = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.phoneEditText);
CallMeMaybe.attachTo(phoneEditText);
If you already use libphonenumber-android
somewhere in you project
pass an instance of PhoneNumberUtil
to CallMeMaybe
using the
CallMeMaybe.setPhoneNumberUtil(PhoneNumberUtil)
method to avoid
creation of another instance of PhoneNumberUtil
.
