Microsoft have stopped issuing Azure Pass codes #162
Comments
Hello, |
Okay,
Just the SC-200 that still needs to be re-worked.
What I don’t understand is why Microsoft would choose to make a call this
out of the blue with no warning to course authors or instructors.
It’s like the deliberately want to mess up the day of the MCT’s who are
trying to deliver quality instruction

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback and I fully appreciate and share your concerns. I
am the course author and owner for this course. I have already updated the
labs to work without an Azure Pass. You will see the No-Azure-Pass version
of the lab steps in this GitHub repo. And our authorized lab hosters have
the images and should be releasing the version that works with this change.
We were in the process of making this change already, it is just being
rushed by 2 days. I do know there will be impact to students, but I hope we
can keep this lower.

Microsoft have made the decision to remove azure passes from the lab hosters, this compleatly breaks 1/2 the labs in this course. What is the plan to continue with the labs for this course without an Azure Pass?
Who as MS is responsible for such and idiotic decision that simply breaks a bunch of courses in the Microsoft Learning program? If the course author here knows, they need to get ontop of this feed it back ASAP, come monday morning there will be 1000s of people around the world doing this course and none of them will be able to complete the labs with it.
