The melee slash visualization should use high resolution textures, rendering with a paletted pixelation shader that would prevent it from appearing resized and out of place, and would allow for better automatic coloring. This issue doesn't suggest using dynamically generated mesh-based trails that may be seen in some other mods, only what's been described.
