Calamity is finely tuned for intimate 10 player matches, but it is impossible for any of the current arenas to handle more than 12 players without the game totally breaking down. If Calamity continues to be included in bigger events, it would be nice to be able to host larger groups.
Code wise, Calamity can handle that amount of players without issue, so this should mainly be a level design thing. We'll have to do some designing and planning, as well as investigating how larger maps handle these players.
