Describe the issue/problem and steps to reproduce

Invalid configuration options (in e.g motion.conf and/or camera.*.conf) result in an error message which is generated BEFORE the logfile is initiated. They will show up in the initialization output but are not logged.

Additionally, if the motion process is SIGHUP'd for a configuration reload, there is NO mention of the invalid configuration option.

I would suggest that any error messages generated before the logfile is initialized be saved (as an environmental?) and added to the logfile once it is opened.

As to why a configuration reload (SIGHUP) does not generate a log entry is left to the developer(s) :-)

I hate drop-downs. The actual 'base version' is motion Version 4.5.1
