ID Chat Migrated

Hello!

Is there a way to auto update the script in case the chatID has been migrated by Telegram?

I just had this issue now and i had to change the chat ID in config.py and some messages has not been forwarded.

Hi sorry for late response.

I don't think its a good idea to make a script to change the config.py since chat migration is rarely to happen and only occurs once.
Instead, you can try to create an exception that handle the ChatMigrated error then send it to the new chat id.

Well i'm not specialist in coding. Can you help with this thing? If i need to pay, i will do this.

Because i will run multiple bots in multiple groups and seems that thhis chatID is changing only for group where i forward the messages.

And again, if you can help with this or you have any ideea how can be fixed i can pay for the fix. Every work need to be payed somehow. 🙏🏼

I can make a work around for this but it only handle the TO_CHATS.
As i said before, the best way to overcome this is to edit your config.py. You only need to change it once since a chat can only migrate once (from group to supergroup).
