What's new for users

A new button allows to navigate to the connected organization
About menus have been redesigned to be more usable. They also display XrmToolBox icon and plugin icon when specified by the developer
In settings, the parameter to sort plugins uses a drop down list to be more efficient
BUG FIXES :
Context menu for plugins works now as expected
XrmToolBox does not crash anymore when loading Plugins Store updates during startup and no network is available
Plugins Store does not crash anymore if a plugin does not have its project url defined
Plugins Store remember setting to use new or legacy store

What's new for developers
A new plugin base class is available to create plugins that require a source connected organization and one or multiple target organization (MultipleConnectionsPluginControlBase, see documentation)

XrmToolBox v1.2017.10.19

This is a major update of XrmToolBox that uses the latest bits of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement SDK (v9.0.0.5)

Warning! This version of XrmToolBox requires .Net Framework 4.6.2. Please install this version before updating your XrmToolBox application. download link

This is required to support protocol TLS 1.2 that will be used soon to connect to Microsoft Dynamics 265 Customer Engagement. More information on Microsoft blog.

What's new for users

• A new Plugins Store is available. This new version shows only plugins registered on XrmToolBox portal and allows you to see ratings from the portal. It is also more performant to retrieve plugins. For now, there is no control on plugins displayed but a future release will show only plugins that have been validated by XrmToolBox portal administrators. This new Plugins Store is not used by default: use Plugins Store options to stop using legacy Plugins Store.

• You can now download and use plugins that target Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement October 2017 update specifically.
• Users can now display plugins in their order of installation (see options).
• Updated Connection update dialog to select plugins to update with the new connection.
• Updated Auto Updater to respect current installation folder.

What's new for developers

• Your plugins can now target specific feature of v9 SDK
• You can specify an icon to be displayed in the tab used for your plugin and in the menu items

XrmToolBox v1.2017.7.18

This release mainly reorganizes the main menu to allow more space for the search bar.

Number of use is now using the appropriate color defined by the plugin
Added a new interface for developer to register keyboard shortcut for their plugin

XrmToolBox v1.2017.3.14

This release mainly fixes a bug in the Plugins Store when retrieving plugins first and latest release dates.

Included in this release, you can also enjoy the brand new Portal Code Editor plugin that will improve your productivity when writing code for your Microsoft Portals. You won't have to switch between WebPage, EntityForm, WebTemplate and WebFile records to create/edit custom code.

XrmToolBox v1.2017.2.13

This is the Valentine's day version! I hope you will love it!

The main new feature is the possibility to add a shortcut to your favorite tools on your desktop (Thanks @rajyraman) and also remember the last opened tool and connection for the next launch (@rajyraman again!)

A new support screen is displayed in a less intrusive way
A lot of small improvements have been made in Connection Manager to better handle connections files and connections.
