Game and Menu lag

Hello, for some reason whenever I try to play this modpack and open it the menu lags and is a few seconds slow to recognize where my mouse is hovering, when I try to ignore this issue and load up a world I'm met with seemingly low fps. I've played heavier packs without these issues. I'm not too software savy and received similar issues on other modpacks on the Twitch curse/ftb launcher. Other launchers haven't had this issue from the plethora of other modpacks I've played on. If this is an existing issue and has a fix please contact me, and if it's a certain mod or anything that can be removed or replaced without effecting the quests or gameplay please let me know. The Modpack seems fun and I havent really seen any other modpacks based around the Blood Magic mod. anyway thank you for your time and please get back to me as soon as possible.
