Documentation: Outdated namelist.input.meso for WRF-DART tutorial

What's the issue?

When working through the WRF_DART tutorial for the 04-2017 case, I can't get past the

./init_ensemble_var.csh 2017042700 param.csh

command in Step 2. I believe at least a partial contributor to the stalling is the namelist.input that is copied into the ${RUN_DIR} from the ${TEMPLATE_DIR} namelist.input.meso, which has dates for 2010.

Where did you find the issue?

Step 2 of the WRF-DART tutorial, and the outdated namelist is in ${TEMPLATE_DIR} as namelist.input.meso

Suggestions for improvement

Could you please update the namelist for the tutorial case of 04-2017?

Hi @baileykwx . The template file namelist.input.meso should be overwritten with the correct time when running the scripts of the tutorial, thus your stalling is likely unrelated to this. Could you please send your question to our DART help email (dart[at].ucar.edu), and be specific to what error codes you get when running the ./init_ensemble_var.csh step. I recommend running the tutorial with only 3 ensemble members (reduce from the default of 50) to help eliminate any processing limitations on your system.
