As seen from the documentation/lensS3zarrStores.txt, some variables and experiments are available, however, it is absent in the intake-catalogs/aws-cesm1-le.csv.

For instance:

  1. the meridional wind V is missing
  2. CTRL_SLAB and CTRL_AMIP experiments

If these "missing" data is indeed available in the AWS server, please update the intake-catalogs/aws-cesm1-le.csv.
Thank you in advance!

@SAMCLUB Thank you very much for contacting us, and sorry for the delayed reply!

(1) We will add meridional wind V as soon as possible. Somehow it got neglected in the conversion and upload process.

(2) The CTRL_SLAP and CTRL_AMIP experiments were deleted as part of a previous update, but the documentation was not updated. Are you interested in using those data? If so, we can arrange to re-upload them. If not, we will just correct the doc.

@jeffdlb Thank you so much for the valuable response.

I am very interested in the CTRL SLAB and AMIP experiments. I have already downloaded the original TS variable from CGD website. Nevermind this experiment request.

Thanks again!

Closing this since @SAMCLUB was able to access the original netCDF data

I am reopening this issue. We cannot publish the U component without the V component, even though the original requester was able to download the data elsewhere. I would term this an urgent request as it is to repair an omission from our published holdings.
