LUH3 forcing data available

Hi All, just a note that an initial version of LUH3 data has been released for CMIP7 forcings in input4mips; some slides describing the differences are here. Mostly the data format is the same format as it has been in LUH2. One key difference is that there is a new land use state, with associated transitions to and from and harvest of, for plantation forests. So I just wanted to raise an issue to note this. Currently FATES has no way to handle the plantation forests, we could treat them as secondary, at least until we have plantation-specific logic in the model.
