These "Year 4" tasks were collectively agreed upon by all GREI repositories during the Year 3 retreat (2024/09)

• Task 2.1: GREI repositories complete GREI Metadata Recommendation (version 1) implementation

• Task 2.2: Develop GREI Metadata Recommendation (version 2)

• Task 2.3: Explore AI and automation to improve the quality and efficiency of metadata creation and enhancement

• Task 2.4: Identify controlled vocabularies that can be used by GREI repositories to support better classification, discoverability, indexing

• Task 2.5: Collaborate to understand the needs of GREI repositories for deploying a dashboard that assesses metadata completeness.

• Deliverable 2.4.1: Inventory subject taxonomies and develop a list of proposed controlled vocabularies which can be used across repositories and included in GREI Metadata Recommendation (version 2)
• Deliverable 2.5.1: Inventory GREI repositories to understand the requirements for developing and deploying a dashboard that assesses metadata completeness.
