The empirical Gaussian (EmG) wake model currently includes mirror wakes to model the effect of the ground or sea surface. However, this feature is currently hardcoded as True. In #907 , the inclusion of the mirror wake is exposed as a user-level setting for the TurboparkgaussVelocityDeficit model.
This feature request would "mirror" (no pun intended) the setting for the TurboparkgaussVelocityDeficit model in the EmpiricalGaussVelocityDeficit model. The default would be True, which would mean no change to existing scripts and current results.
