Create Timeline without dates (slider only)

Hey guys,

Is there a way to do any of the following:

• create a timeline that does not have dates, just the events. I am trying to retell a story for a game I am working on at Sony Playstation and we do not want to associate the timeline with any particular dates. Love the tool, would be great if I could use it exactly with no dates, just the "nodes".
• whether or not above is possible, can I create a Timeline that just shows the year, for all the same events. So say I wanted to show 20 different events, all in the year 1000 BC, but I did not want a day or time to appear. I also do not want the events to stack on top of each other on the timeline itself, but spread out by as if they were separated by a day or time, just not showing that, only the year. I'm considering this as a workaround. We'd be fine just showing the year, but keeping it generic to 1000 BC for each event.
