Related content

Whenever a user encounters a piece of content (article, post, tweet), it's added to the context it so often lacks - we attach related topics,
similar articles, social comments and so on. Different entities (people, places etc.) are identified within the text and connected to Wikipedia, Encyclopedia Britannica, Wolfram|Alpha
or other knowledgebases. Some basic information about the source and its reputation is also included.

With more information we can make a more informed descision about the subject, while also taking care of our news diet by reading multiple points of view.

Content processing

Our servers run a greedy spider network, analyzing articles from various sources and ingesting them into our databases
by running them through NLP algorithms for assessing structure and word importance. Once ingested, we use similarity
calculations on word vectors to match articles together and store similarity matrices for the documents.

Boosting

There's a potential bussines model available, by giving sources the ability to boost an articles score an make it more likely to relate.
The price is calculated by a biding process similar to an Adwords like system.
It would make the platform self sustaining and serve as a possible traffic source for news publisher.

Everytime a user makes a contribution he/she stakes his reputation on the line.
The content must be considered related by our server and have a high score in order to have a positive affect on the users reputation.
