I created an issue on the workshop template, carpentries/workshop-template#846 because we are recommending istall of an insecure version of Python 3.
Updated the text in _includes/install_instructions/python.html to read:
Regardless of how you choose to install it, please make sure you install Python version 3.9 or higher (e.g., 3.11 is fine).
