errors when used on real hardware #2

When used off real hardware, it throws a "Failed to initialize canvas" "resolution is not available; exception Arg_notimplementedexception" error at the resolution its set to start as. VMware throws no errors, but when built to ISO and installed to a USB using Rufus, using an office tower with a 1600x1200 monitor, large enough easily to handle the start resolution, it throws an error. The ISO on the releases page also encounters a similar issue. Setres crashes, and nothing else works.

Whats going on here?
