I like the idea of having a more advanced user workshop. Personally, I would have been interested in workflows for CMIP simulations. It would align well with the needs of the consortium could be useful for many users. Especially if we could exchange experiences across components. |

We had a 3 hour workshop with Steve and Mariana last Friday on workflow for setting up reproducible experiments (and easy shareable). They also showed a lot of existing tools, some that at least I didn't know about. We also discussed git habits. I think it was very useful and it could easily be expanded to a two days workshop if we include exercises for e.g. making reproducible cases with scripting, creating new compsets, git stuff, and also make time for discussions :) |

'CMORize-on-the-fly' was part of the plan in the INES2 proposal for BLOM. It is more challenging for other components, as they have more numbers of different variables. I will end up with a mixture of cmorized output (time series per variable per file), and current format (many variables per time slice/file.). |

I like the idea of a workshop element that targets people (like me) that contribute to the development. Maybe not exclusively, as beginner workshops are also very important. |

According to INES2-interim milestones, we should have a NorESM user workshop for 2024. I would like to have some feedback on what would be considered useful for the user community. I think it would be nice to have a different topic from last year, maybe targeting more advanced use cases. Please add comments with your suggestions below.
