Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is.
A lot of the modules in the machine configuration for Betzy are scheduled to be deprecated this month. As of today there are already problems on Betzy with this upgrade. The CIME Betzy configuration needs to be updated to account for the new modules on Betzy.

I suggest to make a separate issue and milestone for NorESM2.1, as these developments will have to be included on different branches.
