After some of the early experiments of NorESM2-LM it was found that some variables were missing from the atmospheric monthly mean output files.
Some of these were so commonly used that thew were assumed to be automatically included in the default output.
Examples of these are: SST; relative humidity at the surface; Tmax; Tmin
However it turned out that most of these variables was written out as part of the daily output (Cmorized names: namesrhs, tasmax, tasmin,sst) , and it was deemed that rerunning these experiments did not have a high priority.
Lately there has been questions about the examples given above. I suggest to point to the this thread if someone want to find these variables, and add variables that has been included in daily output but not in the monthly output.
Relevant variables as named on ESG node is rhs, tasmax, tasmin
