Hi @bielu,

We are happy and fanatical users of Novicell.Examine.ElasticSearch! We plan to upgrade Umbraco 8 projects to Umbraco 11 in the coming months. Are there any plans to release an Umbraco 11 version of Novicell.Examine.ElasticSearch?

Hi @mcl-sz, there is no plan for a migration package to Umbraco 11 for now.

@mcl-sz I am working on new abstractions for Umbraco to let attach any search client to Umbraco, which makes this package redundant. I will be sharing new search provider around release Umbraco 13!

Hey @mcl-sz,
as Umbraco decided not to follow with changes for v13, I might or might not implement version for v13, as maintaing examine providers is not easy and takes a lot of time. If I will decide to prepare it, it will follow only LTS releases, as umbraco is likely to introduce breaking changes in examine in v14, 15 etc. :)

Hi @bielu I certainly don't want to rush you of course, but have you been able to make any progress for ElasticSearch in Umbraco 13? If there is anything I can help you with or test, please let me know. We're looking forward to it!
