the error message was triggered during save quick.
Never seen this before and have not been able to reproduce.
It happened during a first playthrough of map sm229_markie with vkquake version 1.31.2 / Win10 release binary,
after picking up the thunderbolt (bridge secret), I hit the F key to create a savegame, I think some enemies spawned at the same time, not sure. Of course the sav file is defective. sm229_sav.zip

As you may guess, I've not reproduced this, not even once. Even if I know where it triggers in the code, there is no apparent problem there. I'll keep it open for now, though.
