[coreg] enable translation without rotation

Coregistration currently uses a translation + rotation, which often causes the head to rotate unrealistically. This could be improved by disabling the rotation. Other options are to use them in sequence (first translation, then rotation), and/or the limit the amount of rotation the we allow.
