Regression macOS: Horizontal scrolling using the touchpad now scrolls vertically

Version information

8.2.1.38 but I have also confirmed it in 8.2.2.22

Expected Behavior

When using the gesture to scroll horizontally on a spreadsheet, it should scroll horizontally.

Recoding from version 8.1.3.4:

Actual Behavior

When using the gesture to scroll horizontally, it scrolls vertically.

Reproduction Steps

1. Open a spreadsheet.
2. Scroll horizontally using the touchpad gesture (2 fingers)

Additional information

I know there is #536 describing a similar issue but I feel that this is a bit different as it used to work in 8.1.3.4.

My recordings were done on Firefox 133.0.0 on a Macbook air m1 2020.
