People are getting hit by an issue that involves an older version of python causing desktops to fail as seen in this discourse:

Above the Warning banners in these instructions we can provide a Danger as well about this that the desktops will not work if you don't make this python version change:

Include that the websockify version must be >= 0.10.0 to work since some sites may be doing a manual build of this and not have a package manager managing dependencies and versions.
