The latest release of the EPSG v10.008 dataset includes a number of
transformations between many vertical CRS and EVRF2019, that involve using
grids.
The EPSG dataset points to your website as the source for those
transformations. I could find the related grids navigating from the links
starting at http://crs.bkg.bund.de/crseu/crs/eu-national.php , but I could not
find any mention of the licensing for those .asc files. I'd appreciate if you
could indicate it to me.
Background:
I'm one of the developers of the PROJ open source software (https://proj.org)
widely used to perform coordinate transformations, and along with the
software, we provide the needed grid datasets at https://cdn.proj.org/ so that
users can seemlessly perform coordinate transformations. One of the condition
for inclusion in this collection of grids is that the grids are released under
an Open Source Initiative approved license (such as Creative Commons
Attribution International 4.0, Public Domain, etc.)

Dear Even,
Please excuse my delayed reply. Unfortunately there is still no progress in that matter.
One reason is, that I need the agreement of our administration. Currently we have a principled discussion about licensing on BKG, and nobody wants to make a decision before the end of this discussion.
The other problem is, that I got the data from the European countries. I asked them for the agreement to publish these transformations on the website. No I am not sure, whether I have to ask them again for licensing.
Email just sent to [email protected]
