@DonnieBLT sir ,I am planning to create an option such as : Under Contribute section > Discussion > Create a discussion room ( New model for the room, might be useful to store socket id , if a live video conf is going on) > options to text in group(won't be through sockets) > options to start video conf(can be achieved using sockets and web rtc).

Let me know if this aligns from what you have in mind.

Sounds good! I was thinking groups can be connected to organizations and / or projects and more

Sure so > under the organsation and projects and where ever we want the discussion room , we can have a start discussion button > where user can fill up the room details (again stored in the room model).
