Describe the bug
Our builds started failing when the new version @microsoft/teamsapp-cli was published. We're seeing this error, when running teamsapp pakcage.

CleanShot 2024-03-12 at 11 39 25

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open a project
  2. Run teamsapp package

Expected behavior
The env input should not be mandatory (at least not according to the docs)

Screenshots
See above

VS Code Extension Information (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS 14.2.1 (23C71), Linux (Docker tag: node:21.6.2-alpine3.18)

Additional context
Builds started failing in the last hour. We're always using the latest version of this package in our pipeline.

@frontendphil Thanks for reporting. The error is shown when there are some placeholders in the ./appPackage/manifest.json that were not resolved (either by your own environment variables or default .env file scaned by TTK). Could you share more information about your project env folder and manifest.json?
