I am attempting to use custom styles for Docx export, per the Pandoc manual https://pandoc.org/MANUAL.html#custom-styles

But when I follow the instructions from Pandoc manual and export using Obisdian-Pandoc plugin, it does not seem to pass the custom styles into the resulting word doc.

Pandoc manual instructs as follows

`[Get out]{custom-style="Emphatically"}, he said.
would produce a docx file with “Get out” styled with character style Emphatically. Similarly, using the fenced_divs syntax,

Dickinson starts the poem simply:

::: {custom-style="Poetry"}
| A Bird came down the Walk---
| He did not know I saw---
:::`

But neither of these methods seems to work. The resulting word doc seems to ignore these styles, and the text just shows up in "body text" style.
