To my knowledge spring boot is a system that allows you distribute "single" file jars, that can run on any platform (Mac, Windows, Linux).

This is another system that would allow you to distribute "single" file jars, that can run on any platform.

The event test is instructional kind of like a hello world but with events, the build.xml process and the lib directory as a location to save the library jars for any other said project, is the real meat. it's just not working at the moment.

Hmm... So, if I understand you correctly, you're trying to find a way to package the Qt Jambi library similarly to Spring Boot?
