Release Notes

This is the Milestone 3 second release for Alpha testing. All of the basic functionality needed to run OpenBazaar is included in this release. Many core features are still being enhanced, and many non-core features have not been added yet.

Changelog

The following significant changes have been made in this release:

New Features

  • Social Accounts - users can now add information about social accounts like Facebook to their profiles, and display them on the About tab of their user page. #589

  • Purge Cached Data - users can remove data from other users that is being shared on IPFS. #592

  • Reload Transactions - in settings/advanced, users can now reload their transactions if a network issue has caused them to get out of sync. #612

  • Show Block Data - in setttings/advanced users can load information about their transactions block. This is mostly useful for debugging. #611

Improvements

  • The installation icon was updated. #609

  • Listing images are centered in the search and store views. #604

Bug Fixes

  • An issue with images in the order detail screen not sizing correctly was fixed. #602

Internationalization

Translations will be implemented in future releases, once our base language file is no longer frequently changing. If you are interested in helping to translate OpenBazaar version 2 into other languages, watch for an announcement once we are in public Beta testing.
