Having to reboot the collar at every login to activate the #RLV attachment locks #1040
Comments
@Aishagain I'm not really clear what the issue is here. Can you please describe a set of steps that would allow someone to see the problem you're seeing in action? |
The steps to reproduce can be as follows:
1) Obviously have RLVa activated in the viewer.
2) choose an item from the #RLV folder (eg Mittens)
3) activate the collar "nnmenu" then choose RLV>#folders>browse>private
(that is my file path in the collar, it can vary obviously)
4) from the collar menu choices select (check) "att this"
5) select "locks"
6) check "det this"
exit collar menu.
Check it the appearance floater of Firestorm, "wearing" tab
the detach option SHOULD now be "greyed out"..sometimes it is not and
detach is possible. (NB this is not reproducible every instance)
Relog or reboot the collar (I find both are effective with no apparent
differences)
In the appearance floater wearing tab the detach option is now "greyed out"
and detach is not possible (this is "expected behaviour")
If, however at stage 6) the "det folder" is also checked the detach option
in the appearance floater is immediately "greyed out" and detach is not
possible (again "expected behaviour")
I think that just about covers it?

so the issue is that the rlv call to lock the folder is not being applied imedately uppon setting being triggered, but it is still being applied correctly when you relog, should be an easy fix just tell the script to make the rlv call when the toggle is activated. |
What version of OpenCollar are you using? v 8.2.3
What behavior did you expect? The attachments to stay locked
What behavior did you see instead? The locks are inactive until the collar is rebooted
What steps does someone need to take to reproduce the problem? Run Firestorm 6.6.17
