Description

Python scripts to fetch and update common external codelists, including:

  • Country (ISO 3166-1)
  • Currency (ISO 4217)
  • Language (ISO 639-1)
  • Media type (IANA)
  • Organisation identifier scheme (org-id.guide)

@kd-ods suggested that writing a JSON schema vocabulary for such codelists as a possible alternative in Planio-50255 (internal).

Also, noting that these scripts could live in a separate Python package to ease integration with existing standards.
