Hi @LucyCla,

Thank you for suggesting an idea to add to the Eastleigh Manifesto.

Would you be interested in creating a proposal by editing the manifesto with a few more details about pedestrianising Market Street? You don't need to write too much, and there has now been a successful proposal which might provide a useful example.

It would be great to see your idea in the manifesto however even if you don't want to write a proposal, you're always welcome to add new ideas.

Thanks again, James

Market Street and High Street have been temporarily pedestrianised which could provide some good evidence for whether this idea would work long term

There is currently a consultation to enhance the High Street, Market Street and Wells Place temporary closure (ends 21 March 2021)
