Description of the issue

In many studies it is mentioned that they assume a certain share of renewable fuel mixed into fossil fuel.

Ideas of solution

fuel blending quota: A fuel blending quota is a fraction value that indicates the share of renewable fuel mixed into fossil fuel.
'quantity value of' some 'combustion fuel'

As a biofuel is not necessary a renewable fuel I modify the proposal (in line with #1504) to: A fuel blending quota is a fraction value that indicates the share of renewable fuel or biofuel mixed into fossil fuel.

No one reacted or object to my latest proposal so I consider this issue as ready for implementation.

I started implementing, but then I realised, that we don't distinguish here between quantity value and entity in reality. Additionally, in PR #1723 we introduced blended liquid fuel: A blended liquid fuel is a liquid combustion fuel that contains a liquid fossil fuel and a liquid renewable fuel or a liquid biofuel.

Therefore I suggest the following new definitions, reusing parts of the previous definition:

  • fuel blending quota: A fuel blending quota is a fraction value quality of a blended fuel that indicates the share of liquid renewable fuel or liquid biofuel mixed into fossil fuel.
  • fuel blending quota value: A fuel blending quota value is a fraction value that quantifies a fuel blending quota.

I am ok with that.
However, the whole "quantity value and entity in reality" topic is currently under investigation at OVGU with @nelekoehler and @fabianneuhaus, as mentioned before. Therefore, we might have to revisit it again at some point.
