Compile FAST.sln of version 4

Dear All,
My purpose is to develope the super controller for FAST.Farm V4, and I use windows 11, I'm using just the visual studio for compiling.
My first step is just to compile the FAST.Farm and get the executive files without making any change in the source code, So I installed:

• Visual Studio Community 2022
• I installed Intel One API Base toolkit for the fortran
  I installed the "Desktop development with C++" and checked "MSVC v142 - VS 2019 C++ x64/x86 build tools", "Windows 11 SDK", and "C++ CMake tools for Windows", I was sure to make adapt the fortran with the VS.

I'm not sure which version of the Intel compiler you have installed, but they were planning to remove support for ifort at the end of 2024. You can use the ifx compiler instead. Right-click on a project in the solution file that says IFORT, select Properties, then click on Configuration Properties -> General -> Use Compiler and select IFX. Do this for all the Fortran projects that say IFORT. Apply/Save your changes and then rebuild the solution.

Actually what you told me was very helpful, I put a step forward. now I could try to build it.

I clone the whole repository, and without making any change I tried to build the project, but it seems there is an error to generate FASTlib_x64.lib.
Do you have any guess why this error happens.

Could you show me the text from the Output tab (it's usually on the bottom of the Visual Studio window, next to the Error List that you are showing)? That will be more helpful. I'd guess that it's failing to run the registry on some file, but I can't tell for certain without more information. Please include all of the text from that tab, as the first error generated is usually the most helpful.

That appears to be the same issue as reported here: #2539
Please try the suggestions listed there.
