  • Upon first launch streamlit requests for an email in the terminal.
  • Closing the web browser does not terminate the program.
  • Uninstall the app via shortcut? instead of go to control panel.
  • Also packaging of pyinstaller base building windows version webapp?

Upon first launch streamlit requests for an email in the terminal.

I would assume streamlit sets a registry key if that is done the first time. Thus, I did not see it in testing. Could we just automatically set this via wix?

More ideas from the WebApp-Meeting

  • Once version tags are available include them in the install path
  • Detect and suggest to uninstall old versions
  • Store wrokspace location settings.json and then ask during windows installation where to store workspaces

Option to keep old versions for reproducibility (e.g. if algorithm changes)

So not a registry key.. Includes a practical solution!
