How to make a right angle out of a almost right angle?

I wonder: Is there a function to make a corner of an existing line feature to "snap" into some x*45 degree raster while editing?
Use case:
I want to get rid of noise.

But removing these corners will turn the prevailing out of shape.

I thus want to make them rectangular again.
