Pre-submission checklist

  • I checked that no other Bug Report describing my problem exists.
  • I am running the latest stable or prerelease firmware.
  • My board is on the list of maintained boards.
  • I accept that this issue may be closed if any of the above are found to be untrue.

Board

OpenShock Core v2.2L

Firmware version

1.2.0-rc.1,1.1.2,develop+ab4be3a

Flashing method

Everything, unrelated

Describe what happened as precisely as possible.

The initial AP when trying to setup the ESP does not work.
It either:

  • doesnt show up at all
  • your told you cant connect to the network / it failed to work

Interesting enough is, that when you set it up via serial, and the enable the AP via debug in the web ui, it does instantly work.
Tested with 3 different pcbs of mine and different AP stations.

Describe what you expected to happen instead.

Work

In as much detail as possible, describe the exact steps you took to make the problem appear.

  • Flash a OpenShock Core V2.x
  • Factory reset
  • Try to connect to the AP it makes

Other remarks

Interestingly it works on D1 mini boards

Bug disappeared for now, not sure what was the issue at all. Will continue to investigate on my own. Moving to triage again
