The link to all the specs used to
be http://docs.opensocial.org/display/OSD/Specs but is now https://opensocial.atlassian.net/wiki/display/OSD/Specs. This was a
critical link that a lot of people referenced and now brings you to a
page that says "we are down for maintenance". This gives the
impression that the link is still good but we are fixing something,
not that the page has moved or the link is no longer valid.
I am sure
there are some people out there thinking that we have been down for
maintenance for months at this point. Is there anything we can do to
redirect anything that went to docs.opensocial.org to
opensocial.atlassian.net/wiki?

I've investigated this. The issue isn't the forwarding of the domain name but the change in context on the URL. What we can do is setup a proxy HTTP server somewhere on EC2 that will 301 incoming requests to the right URL and then update the docs.opensocial.org subdomain to point to that instead. It would probably take me a couple hours to get that working right and ideally it wouldn't be running on my personal EC2 account.
