Regarding Docker image: start page does not show AS4 protocol - but actually it is present there, try /as4 instead of /as2 - you should get "Hello AS4 world" |

Thanks for your answer, but it didn't help me(((. Regarding Docker image: I tried using /as4, but didn't get "Hello AS4 world", I got HTTP error 404 Regarding Tomcat: I tried using tomcat 9 with java 1.8 and web page became accessibiliy but this is similar with web page when using docker image (showing as2 connector) |

Yesterday I double checked that Docker image norstella/oxalis-as4:5.4.0 actually includes AS4 (the home page is from AS2 module, with hardcoded list of protocols, that is why it does not show AS4 link - but you click at first on AS2 link and change as2 to as4). Regarding tomcat - it is impossible to help without logs. When you start Oxalis in Tomcat, you should have something like Usually, same file contains info about errors. |

Today I deployed new virtual machine and install java-1.8, tomcat-9.0.67 and Oxalis, but result same with previosly. In additional I ran to run Oxalis in docker with same result(((. My log from docker: Config file: Command for run docker Log from tomcat: I don't understan why as4 not found in my environment, but works in you. Do you have any ideas? |

Try to check the contents of OXALIS_HOM/ext folder - for AS4 image it should contain a lot of jars, related to AS4 (in AS2 version it is empty): I suspect (not sure), that it can be empty because you start docker image with volume mount on ext: Try to remove this one volume mount - and the list of accessible protocols should include as4: 18:05:34.010 [main] INFO n.o.o.t.MessageSenderFactory - Prioritized list of transport profiles: Regarding pure Tomcat startup - it looks suspicious, that logging interrupts on line "16:02:13.612 [main] INFO n.o.v.peppol.security.ModeDetector - Detected mode: TEST" In your docker logging the next line should be "INFO [network.oxalis.outbound.transmission.MessageSenderFactory] Prioritized list of transport profiles: ". It means that something crashed - but not logged to standard output. Try to check all other Tomcat log files - e.g. catalina.log or localhost.log, there could be something *Error or *Exception which prevents your context from startup. Strange that it did not report it with SEVERE error level in standard output - but there are dozens of possible misconfigurations... |

Yes, directory Do you know what is this? My command for run docker: If I return mount Regarding tomcat I didn't find any errors or exceptions in other files, log that I showed in my previos message is catalina.out from tomcat home directory. |

Ok, so just omit or comment out with # in oxalis.conf next lines as you do not provide your own plugins now: And exclude unneeded mounts - keep only conf, inbound and outbound, don't mount plugin: docker run -it --name oxalis-as4 -v /opt/as4d/conf:/oxalis/conf -v /opt/as4d/in:/oxalis/inbound -v /opt/as4d/out:/oxalis/outbound -p 8081:8080 -e OXALIS_HOME=/oxalis norstella/oxalis-as4:5.3.0 |

Thanks for you answer. After I commented these lines connector start successfully and AS4 became available. Or maybe for send files I need to use oxalis-standalone without docker? |

You can pass env variable MODE=standalone to run this image in standalone mode and use parameters for standalone examples - in this case startup command will be Look into the Main class of standalone module for the list of parameters or search in issues/docs for example of sending invocation. |

Hello @riyko, that is very good :) I do agree that the documentation can be better - but that how it is with open source projects... Regarding your questions - I am not sure that standalone docker or distribution is expected to be used in production as is, usually people integrate it into their solutions or build wrappers around. Standalone mode is mostly used to test something or do such testbed passing like you did... Sending documents suppose a lot of things like retransmission attempts in case of failure, some kind of send attempts logging, receipts persistence, finally according to new Peppol Agreements - statistics collection to be delivered to authority. So I suspect you will need to build your own Java wrapper around to be able to send documents or to cleanup the outbox folder, at least that is what Oxalis users I am aware are doing for sending. Receiving is less "complex" - and often it is enough to use the standard distribution or container image. |

I want to using Oxalis AS4 solution for setup connection and exchange messages with PEPPOL.
I installed java, tomcat server (tried different versions) and Oxalis by this doc without any error in logs, but when I'm trying to check installation of Oxalis I'm getting error: HTTP Status 404 – Not Found.

Why I get error 404 when try to use Oxalis with tomcat?
When I try to use docker image of Oxalis AS4 (for example with this tag norstella/oxalis-as4:5.4.0, or different version) I see home page and status page without error, but type of connector in this image is AS2, not AS4 (PEPPOL using only AS4 now).
