Hi @PYANN! I've been away the last few weeks hence my delayed reply.
Currently there's very little difference between the paid/non-paid versions of Kanmail - this is partly because it's already in beta. The point of the payment isn't to activate extra features but to support the future development of Kanmail. I'm not a fan of agressive trials or similar things, so the idea is that there's an unlimited time to evaluate Kanmail and anyone who seriously usese the software should purchase a license.
So it's more to do the right thing than unlock extra functionality. That's not to say that there won't be some extra functionality implemented in the future for licensees, or some kind of notification for non-licensed installs. But I intend to keep the core functionality open forever.
May I ask which functions of this software need to be paid?
What's wrong with not buying it?
