By allowing 3rd parties to install web apps, we strengthen the value of sites such as [PWA Directory][pwa-directory] and [findPWA][find-pwa] and in turn increase web app discoverability.

PWA Directory is not found anymore, I guess.

PWA Directory (which I was one of the maintainers) was discontinued. It wasn't being maintained and there were other alternatives within the community.
