Totally agree with this, performance and SEO should be key focus in next release, otherwise all fancy apps are of no use

Hi all,

We had an issue with phpFox Store (this cause phpFox website was slow down each time it loads and connect to store) and we fixed it.
Let us know if your site loading faster.

Regards.

@harrison05 After upgrading to 4.8 I guess Lazy load on mobile app is not working, it is trying to load every damn thing from server which is taking ages to load. Please can you check and confirm if there is any setting which needs to changed from v4.8?

@harrison05 I just read this again and started thinking why is phpfox slow my site down or shut down my Business and cost me money or user aggravation + make my Business/Website look unprofessional to my users, especially if they are paying customers.

what is that ?

  • I would like to be explained why our website performance is hampered by the stores server / performance?
  1. when I buy phpfox and now updated to Ultimate and chatplus, why would the store.phpfox.com (phpfox servers slowdown or shutdown my server?) there should be no correlation the store and my server..
  • this means if phpfox has again any issues we will lose our power on our websites ?
  1. Please explain, once we have our servers installed and uploaded all the apps, there should be no connection until we ask for it..
  • If there is an update for apps or newer version of phpfox, that should be a one time quick connect to give us update (notification we need to update app or to new upgrade build..)

  • other than the notification, your servers or phpfox store should not slow down our servers at all.
this is not professional business practice, we should have option in admincp to turn off any connections to phpfox store until we need them.

  • I am a little frustrated to think if I am building my Business I have to worry about issue with phpfox servers, not my servers to slow down my Business. that is not Good Business Practice.

  • Please find a way to add a setting in admincp section, that we do not have to be connected to phpfox servers / store.

I don't want to run my Business / websites and have a chance my Business goes down because of phpfox.

We need a section in admincp - that allows admin to turn off any and all connections to phpfox servers and when we want to check for update we can turn on the button and see if we have notifications for updates.

this should be our option to stay connected or not stay connected then we don't have any downtime or slow motion because of your servers .

This is Good Business Practice and should be the workflow of phpfox

Regards,
Spiro
