Hi author, I am a student from China doing research related to typhoons and high temperatures. I am very excited to find on the website about the tropical storm dataset you developed based on cmip6 data, which is very helpful for my research! But unfortunately I'm not quite sure how to use it. So I was wondering if I could ask you for advice on its usage in this regard (e.g. how do I use the 'storm_assess' you developed in GitHub? , as well as I would like to be able to get the values of the path of a typhoon at a certain place at a certain time, the intensity of the central pressure, etc., and draw a graph of it. Is this feasible?) I would be very grateful if you would be willing to communicate with me!
Have a nice day!

Hi. This code was written to help read the storm tracks published at https://catalogue.ceda.ac.uk/uuid/e82a62d926d7448696a2b60c1925f811. So in principle using one of the files from that archive, and the example plot_storm_tracks_cmor.py script, should allow you to plot the tracks and get an idea on how to manipulate the tracks, select years or regions. I will apologies in advance that the code has not been maintained, so may not work any more, but hopefully gives you somewhere to start. Thanks.
